Applications for the 2019-2020 Kindergarten lottery are available by clicking the button above. Applications must be received by March 6, 2019 in order to be included in the March 13, 2019 lottery.
We are also accepting applications for students who will be in grades 1-8 in the 2019-2020 school year. Please click the button above to download the application.
Applications may be submitted electronically via email, mailed or faxed. Emailed applications will be acknowledged via email. Faxed or mailed applications will be acknowledged with a phone call. You are welcome to email or call the school to check your child's wait list number.
WAITING LIST A waiting list will be established for Kindergarten applications not selected in the lottery. The position on the waiting list will be determined during the initial lottery process for applications received before the application deadline. Kindergarten applications received after the deadline will be placed on the waiting list in the order received.
For all other grades, applications will be placed on the existing waiting list for the applicable grade level in the order received. In May of each year we will send an email to all addresses provided on the application and you are required to respond to the email should you want to renew your application for the next academic year. Discovery Charter School will admit students on a space available basis. Applicants will be notified of their position on the waiting list and spaces will be filled in numerical order from the list.
It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that Discovery has the correct contact information to communicate enrollment information.
