How: Using school provided computers, staff will be available to assist you in accessing the DCS Powerschool Parent Portal.

Annual Surveys - Military, Migrant and McKinney Vento
Health & Wellness Information including NEW student physical and immunization records as well as required 6th grade immunization records.

The Free and Reduced Lunch Program
Discovery Charter School will continue to operate the free and reduced lunch program. The program is more than just lunches. This program also establishes eligibility for such benefits as the reduced/no textbook fees for the school year.
Families who automatically qualify will receive a letter via email to the primary email address listed in Powerschool. Information for the Free and Reduced Lunch Application can be found below.

Information regarding student fees will be shared with families in August.
Discovery Patches
Discovery will have our Compass and Hawks patches for sale at registration. They are $5 each, cash only.
Brick Fundraiser
If you missed out or were not a Discovery family during registration last year, you get another chance to be a part of Discovery forever by purchasing a brick at a discounted rate. To learn more about our brick fundraiser, we will have an information booth at the in person registration days. Bricks will be 25% off if you enter the coupon code HAWKS25 through 8/30. You can order bricks online HERE.

PAC will also be at in person registration and they have a few things they want you to know:
UNIFORMS
Our uniform vender is Blythe's. Uniform ordering will reopen the week of registration, through our new uniform website. It will be sent out in the registration email leading up to registration. Uniform ordering will remain the same as it has been the past two years. All orders placed during registration and until 7/30 will be available for pick up at Meet and Greet. All orders placed August 1-30, will be sent home with your student the second or third week of September and so on for each month. All orders must be placed online.
We will have some samples for sizing at the in-person registration, on site days. We will also have used (prices vary, but between $2-$80) and new left-over Discover Our World Green Award shirts and pink 5k shirts for $20.

VOLUNTEERING
We would LOVE to have you volunteer!! You can sign up to volunteer for various needs here, Sign up Genius' are live for Car Line, Recess Helper, Lunch rags and Lunch helper. Sign up HERE to receive more information by entering your email for volunteering opportunities for Room Liaison, Grade Chair, Copy Volunteer, Fall Festival, Staff Snack Days, Uniform Coordinator, and SCRIP volunteers (selling in the lobby).
