ARCHERY CLUB
Join the Discovery Archery Club and learn archery techniques, practice shooting arrows, learn range safety and the history of archery!
Club meets each week on Wednesday starting September 20th from 3:30 - 4:30.
Location: Discovery Charter School gym
Coaches: National Archery in the Schools Program archery instructors - Mr. Underwood and Mrs. Byrt
Sign Up: Participation is limited to 20 students. Due to the limit, priority will be given to the first 10 (total) 5th/6th graders that submit, and the first 10 (total) 7th/ 8th graders that submit applications. Any additional students that sign up will be placed on the waiting list.
Please do not send your student to Archery Club unless you receive confirmation from Mr. Underwood or Mrs. Byrt that your student is enrolled. Enrollment will close on or before September 13th. A waiver form and safety rules form will be emailed to you and must be returned one week prior to the start date in order for your child to participate.

Art Club is for kids who are serious about their art. They will have a chance to get extra creative time with Mrs. Hansen, work on collaborative projects, share creative ideas, enter art contests, teach each other, and work on public art to share with the community. See grade level forms for exact dates for age groups.
If your younger child has trouble working in a large group, please consider attending with them until they feel comfortable. (Adults must have background check, sorry no younger siblings.)
