Science Olympiad is a TEAM for middle school Discovery students interested in the Sciences. Team members choose from up to 20 events in which to independently/partner-study for February regional competition held at a local university. Build events like bridges or mouse-trap car, and Study events like Anatomy & Physiology or Maps will challenge our minds and hands. An invitation to State competition in March and a practice at January's "Invitational" (mock competition) are also possibilities. Looking for Team Players who can put in time and enthusiasm! Meet once a week (Wednesdays) until 4:30pm, a couple weekends in late January for builds & finalizing event binders.

NOTE: 15 team members may compete; our Team will also include alternates who may cheer at competition and support the 15 in studying and prep, so that they may have experience for the next year.

Session One

Callout Meeting: September 16th, 2026 3:15 pm - 4 pm

Meets on Wednesdays on the following dates: 9/30, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, & 11/11 until 4:30 pm each day.
